Randstad is now looking for a Portfolio Administrator for an asset management firm. The Portfolio Administrator plays a key role in the support of the team in the areas of client service and operations
The primary responsibilities of Portfolio Administrators are:
•Prepare and present reports for monthly internal meetings to discuss and review client affairs
•Prepare analyze quarterly reporting packages for presentation to clients
•Maintain client database, electronic, and paper files
•Reconcile client accounts and trading systems on a daily basis
•Provide exceptional customer service to our existing and new clients by addressing inquiries in a timely and professional manner both on the phone and by email/mail correspondence
•Assist with setting up client meetings, debriefs and follow ups
•Process and track monthly expenses, record and monitor business performance
•Interact with our custodians and brokers to effect account openings, transfers, payments, and ensure trade executions/settlements are processed on a daily basis
•Assist with the firm’s business development, marketing, and other special projects as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
•An extremely high level of attention to detail and quality of work
•Five plus years in a finance, accounting environment is ideal
•The ability to multi-task, balance competing priorities, and meet deadlines
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Post-secondary education (preference for a business focus)
•Excellent written and verbal skills
•Strong work ethic
•Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
What they offer:
•$45000- $60000 depending on experience
•Vacation
•Sick days
•Benefits after 3 months
•Monday to Friday 7am-3pm ( to work with the east coast markets)
