Our client, a 100% virtual, fully automated accounting firm, offering services to Canadian SMEs, is looking for a Tax Analyst or a Senior Tax Analyst to complete their team.

Responsibilities Correspond with customers to discuss, explain and advise on tax related matters; Prepare and process and review T1’s, T2’s, T3’s & T5’s; Prepare draft responses for tax related queries from Accounting staff; Research tax issues that arise from planning or compliance work; Participate in tax planning for small businesses and individuals; Correspond with the tax authorities when required; Participate in any sales tax and corporate tax audits that may arise for clients; Assist in the development of systems and processes pertaining to the tax department; Prepare training materials and provide presentations for professional development in the various areas of taxation to staff.
Profile CPA title obtained or in process; Experience in tax; Experience with tax audits with CRA and Revenu Québec; Excellent communication skills; Very organized and attentive to details; Familiar with different accounting systems; Familiar with tax preparation software.
