Job Description: Job Summary This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages.
He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks.
This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.
Located at: 8826 JIM BAILEY CRESCENT, KELOWNA BC Shift: Monday to Friday, starting at 4:00AM Type: Permanent Position with Health/Dental Benefits and Tuition Reimbursement Shift hours may slightly vary due to operational requirements Responsibilities: Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars .
Qualifications: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
Ability to read and memorize postal codes Availability to work flexible shift hours, Monday to Friday, 4 am start time and must be available until 9 am Access to own vehicle, no public transit during shift hours What UPS can offer: Weekly compensation; effective starting at $17.00/hour Guaranteed wage increase Extended benefits (after 1 year) Tuition Reimbursement: maximum of $3000/semester Promotion from within Employee discounts Conditions Apply UPS Canada is a diverse and equal opportunity employer.
