– this is the role you’ve been waiting for The Data & Analytics team at Loblaw is hiring a Senior Manager, Data Science Health Products, responsible to manage the technical medical device product lifecycle for the Data Science Health Team with a particular emphasis on machine learning components.

This role is accountable for compiling and guiding the components of the product lifecycle to ensure the value and technical feasibility of the product and its evolution.

The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders including; health business partners, data scientists, engineers and developers.

Duties & Responsibilities Lead opportunity refinement and problem definition work within the Data Science Health team for medical device products, with a particular emphasis on machine learning components Manage and iterate the technical medical device product strategy for products identified for delivery within the Data Science Health team.

Produce and evaluate product value against technical feasibility to support product roadmap Work closely with cross functional teams on development of the products identified for delivery within the Data Science Health team; defining user stories and prioritizing product features and capabilities against value Provide direction and guidance through product launch Manage optimization and future product roadmap for launched products Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in medical device product development, preferably software products Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong knowledge of software product delivery methodologies and software development lifecycles Passion for the health businesses within Loblaw Strong organizational and leadership skills Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners Background in data science, machine learning would be considered an asset Good financial and business acumen is considered an asset How You’ll Succeed: At Loblaw, we seek great people to continually strengthen our culture.
