Focused on innovation and excellence, we are looking for dynamic and passionate people to join our team ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Sales Director, the DSM ( District sales manager) will visit dealers within his assigned territory to present and promote Kimpex products.
He will also participate in the market development by seeking new dealers and opening new accounts.
More specifically, the DSM will be responsible for: Manage sales operations in the assigned territory (State of Michigan); Meet with the dealers on a regular basis and enter into strategic sales agreements; Promote Kimpex’ products and participate in developing promotional programs to increase sales;Support dealers and bring forward practical solutions to improve customers’ satisfaction and growth; Validate inventory records, help dealers throughout booking process and assess their requirements; Participate in competitive intelligence tactics, contact potential clients and seek new business opportunities; Provide monthly schedule, call reports to the Sales Director; Manage sample accounts in accordance with Kimpex’ policies; Attend client events, sales meetings and trade shows.
Exigences Knowledge & ExpertiseThe candidate should demonstrate leadership and management abilities as we are always looking for our next leaders amongst our employees; Post-secondary degree in business administration or equivalent experience; Previous sales management experience, ideally 3 to 5 years as a District Manager); Passionate about Powersports industry (ATV, Motorcycle, Snowmobile and Marine); Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM.
The potential candidate must have a valid driver’s license and must reside in or be willing to travel within Michigan and biannually travel to Maine & New Hampshire.
He must also assume frequent road, as well as overnight and abroad travels sometimes, as a valid Passport will be required.
Personal skills sought Excellent sales and negotiation skills; Customer-focused and exceptional ability to develop long-term partnerships; Highly organized and strong time management skills with the ability to self-assess; Positive thinking, leadership and commitment to excellence.

He must also assume frequent road and Ferry travels, as well as overnight and abroad travels sometimes.
